Hello. I'm browsing around looking for a new wiki engine. I've been using UseMod and like it. However, I have some reasons to move away from cgi. As I was studying JSPWiki http://jspwiki.org, I mentioned that my vision of wiki would include an offline wiki too with a way to synch it with an online one. I mentioned that EddiesWiki runs well offline. Someone then replied saying that Fitness also runs well locally.

I've looked around here briefly and am impressed by:
A) that page response is so FAST
B) some of the Markup Syntax and Markup ability is cool: strikethrough, notes, horizontal rules, alignment around images, MarkupAliasLink, tables (done well here).

I'm not a tester. So I can't appreciate the test functionality embedded here. It would be something about which I would need to always explain to people and provide instruction to ignore... which would be a show stopper.

I'm trying to read the documentation and can't quite figure out what FitNesse is... what language it is in... what is required to run it... where the data is contained... etc. I'll keep looking.

You can find me at http://matthew.undertheoak.net Cheers!

This is a ripoff of EddiesWikis source code.
